• Merit Homeopathic Pharmacy - Merit has the largest stock of homeopathic remedies in the San Fernando Valley and will have the recommended remedy and potency about 75% of the time. If you're not up to driving to Granada Hills ask them to ship the remedy to you. (They usually do a great job of shipping out within the day.)  They require a $10 minimum on shipping orders and the remedies only cost $5 - $7, so if you need to replenish any of your nutritional supplements add that to your order. (Located in the Knollwood Pharmacy in the Knollwood shopping center, on Balboa Blvd., 2 blocks north of the 118, Granada Hills.) • Whole Foods - They carry the 6C and 30C potency for 80 commonly recommended remedies.  I can usually tell you if they will have what you're looking for - or call their nutrition department to find out. (Located at the corner of Moorpark Road and Wilbur Road, Thousand Oaks.) (805)777-4730

• Lassens Health Food Store - Lassens carries the same stock of 80 remedies that Whole Foods carries (in the 6C and 30C potencies), a few 30X potency remedies and just a handful of higher potency remedies (200C).  Again, I can usually let you know if they'll have the remedy I'm recommending. When in doubt, call ahead to see if they have what you need. (Located at the corner of Thousand Oaks Blvd. and Skyline Dr. (just west of Hampshire Road), Thousand Oaks.) • Hahnnemann Labs – This is a manufacturing company in northern California that ships directly to the public – and they often have remedies that are rare and difficult to find elsewhere. I can usually let you know if the remedy I recommend for you is one you’ll need to call Hahnemann for. • Warner Plaza Pharmacy - They have about 50 of the most commonly recommended remedies in 6C, 30C and 200C potencies. This is a relatively small supply for a homeopathic pharmacy but they do a great job in terms of customer service. If they don't have the remedy you need they can usually get it within a day.  If you live in the west San Fernando Valley or Agoura Hills and don't want to pay the shipping charges for Merit, work with Warner Plaza Pharmacy. (Located at the corner of Ventura Blvd. and Topanga Canyon Blvd., Woodland Hills.) • Capitol Drugs - I'm including this for those who live in Sherman Oaks or the surrounding area.  I haven't had much experience with this pharmacy, but they have been around for a long time. (in the In & Out shopping center on Van Nuys Blvd., just north of Ventura Blvd., Sherman Oaks) (818) 905-8338

• Santa Monica Homeopathic Pharmacy - I believe they have the largest stock of remedies on the west side, and they can ship if you're not up for the drive. (Located at 629 Broadway, corner of 7th street and Broadway, Santa Monica) (310) 395-1131
