Office Hours and Practice
Policies
- Location - My office is located in
Thousand Oaks, California (west of Los Angeles, North of
Malibu). I also do phone consultations upon request.
- Hours of Practice - I'm in my office every Monday,
Wednesday and Friday between 1:30 and 6:00pm, and every
Tuesday and Thursday between 2:30 and 6:00pm. There are
sometimes exceptions due to life circumstances (jury
duty, etc), so please call before you come in to make
sure I'm in the office and that I'm available. I am also
available in the mornings, after 6:00pm, and some
Saturdays by appointment.
- Emergencies - I'm not equipped to handle medical
emergencies, so if you are in need of emergency medical
care, please go to the closest emergency facility.
- Pager - Use my pager if you need to get a hold of me
right away and you can't get a hold of me through my
office line. For example, if you are experiencing an
acute illness (e.g. the flu) and would like to come in
right away, page me. As another example, if you are at a
homeopathic pharmacy and need my input about your remedy
purchase, page me. Please try not to page me before
8:30am, after 7pm, or on Sundays.
- Cell - I don't have a cell phone. Call my office and
leave a message, or, if your call is urgent, leave a
message on my pager.
- Payment - Please make sure you have cash or a credit card
available at the time of the appointment. For credit card
payment (Master Card and Visa), I have to pass on a
processing fee to you of 5%.
- Right to end working relationship - If you feel you need
to discontinue working with me for any reason, please
feel free to move on to another practitioner, no
questions asked. Likewise, I reserve the right to
discontinue our working relationship at any time. (This
is not very likely, as I've only needed to end my working
relationship with one client in the last eight years.
Nevertheless, I feel it important to let everyone know
up-front that this is a possibility.)
