Some thoughts on my experience with homeopathy, as practiced by Laurie Monteleone

I have been a client of Laurie for nearly two years now, during which time she has proven herself a true healer. Moreover, she is, in fact, that most valuable and empathic of souls, a wounded healer. For she, too, had suffered from the very conditions for which I desperately needed solutions, and provided a living, breathing (and functioning!) example of someone who had been there and made her way back.

She is very open about her own experiences, a quality that has proven extremely encouraging to me as I've struggled through some dark places. Whenever I've called and wailed that I'd never get well, she has calmly reassured me that she, too, had been at that stage and that this, too, would pass. And, to my amazement, over and over, it has.

I think what I appreciate most about Laurie's approach to her patients is her lack of arrogance (a refreshing change from that know-it-all attitude I suppose we have all encountered from certain health practitioners in our journeys toward wellness). Although she is extremely knowledgeable and intuitive, she never pretends to have all the answers and actively encourages the seeker to participate is his or her own recovery.

She is also always willing to share insights about her field; a recent one that was especially freeing for me was her take on how the modality of homeopathy actually works. "It is an unwinding process which undoes our outmoded survival mechanisms. States come up when we are ready to own those parts of our psyches," Laurie explained.

I am eternally grateful to have her kind, compassionate guidance and companionship as I own my own brokenness and continue to heal. God bless you, Laurie. You are a rare and precious gift.
